Travelling can be fun in only two ways.. if you are on picnic, then all the singing and tafrees can make it a fun trip but if you are on your usual business then there could be only one thing which can come to your rescue in boredom. Yes it is a good book. Nothing can be better than reading a good book in a bus with some noises in background.

Dear sweet bloggy, whatever should i write in you? Should i write about the pain and misery the world is continually imposing on itself due to the acts of humans? The bomb blasts, the ill-treatment of prisoners, the iraqi bloodshed, the ever growing numbness within ourselves and the fear that this fighting will never end? Why isn't anyone stopping all this? I can't understand it; i just can't - the hate, the inflication of pain, the fear, the misery. I am drowning in this state of melancholy and can't get out. We are a doomed race.

Valentine's Day

Sigh. Valentine's Day. What a waste. What a complete waste of one's life by following girls around and handing around overpriced roses. According to my observations the people who are truly in love, i mean like *really* in love, end up not getting together (due to family issues mostly), while a couple of the cheapest, most ridiculous, and most unfaithful people can go steady for years. really Surprising.

FAKE EARTQUAKE

This has to be the most intersting post of all blogs. A totally unusual last night. A rumor was spread all over the city and even the nearby cities that a power full earthquake is going to struck Peshawar and the surrounding areas at 5 AM. I wonder how all the people beleived in that rumor, and the result..... beyond anyone's expection. A whole damn city went out of their homes to streats and roads. Empty homes everywhere, Roads jam-packed with cars and other vehicles at 4:00 am. Even ambulances were out to help on roads. Cops ranging door bells and beating gates asking people to get out of their homes as an earthquake is going to destroy everything very soon.
A look of death on everyone's face. Majority of them thought that this is it. This is the end. No one is going to survive. Announcments were coming from the mosque's about how the earthquake is going to destroy the city very shortly. People making calls to their friends and relatives on their cell phones. Even i recived over a dozens of calls on my phone. Nobody even cares to know how is that possible to predict an earhquake. There isn't any device in the world to reveal about earthquake in advance. Many people even went out of the city to Islamabad and Lahore. Also the same was happening in the nearby cities and villages. No one even have the commen sence to understood that this was just a rumor. Roads and streats filled with men And women in rain waiting for "the moment", asking forgivness of their sins from GOD and praying. Panic everywhere people runing here and there and getting sliped in mud. And then the moment arrived, 5:00 AM but nothing happend, 5:02 am, 5:05, 5:10, 5:15 but still nothing happened. where is that earthquake, is he got late for some reason??? And as time progress the people realized that they have been fooled.
But something that was also very unusall was that mosques were filled during morning pray. Its was like EID pray or even bigger. People were standing on streats for pray because of the no more room in mosques. Everyone went to pray, thankig the all MIGHTY GOD. All these events were really weird but also it was once in a lifetime situation. I am going to remember this one for the rest of my life. But what would other people think about the people live in peshawar. Surlly they would think we are
the most idiot, stupid, and sorry asses on this planet earth.
Sigh. This thing also reminds me of a story i read in my F.Sc English book "The day the dam broke". Same sort of situation,

and the whole city was dumbed.

Ever lasting rain

It has been raining since three days now and by the looks of it i don't think its going to stop in next three days either. Well the same rain we were praing and hoping for in summer has become a serious problem in winter. Whar a weird turn of events. GOD stop this rain. Stop it please.
Also the cable's reception gone reall bad, and i don't think cable wala i going to fix it untill the rain stops. But, Thums up for WAPDA. Why? because no power failure this time around during rain. Some relief. Life can be so fucking awful without electricity. I wonder how people lived without electricity in past.

Gorge ka Pakistan

Saw that new TV show "Gorge ka Pakistan" on Geo. Man that Programe rocks. So very much awsome. TV programes these days are nothing but crap and i havn't noticed a single show worth watching for a long while. Only purpose i use TV is for watching Cricket and Wrestling (Yes i still watch wwe at the age of 24). So something in a long time to hook to. Good job Geo. Thumbs UP! Recamended to everyone. You have been told.
News Break: Dolly Scientists granted human clonning liecense. Cool, really cool. First that Huygens Space Probe thing and now human cloning.. Is that for reall. i got to be. And ohh yes, make my clone. yeahhhh wana see another me! :)

Having rain for two days straight can be such a fucked up mess if you live Momin Town. Water all over the streets and road, but the worst part is mud. Any place you are going to put your feet would be coverd with mud which is also very slippery. Only veterans like me who live here for ages can survive the walk from one corner to another corner or towards the main road. Although its fun to watch people get slipped in mud and get dirty. Personally i become the victim of this mud today when i slipped with 2 shopping bags in my hands very near to the house.
But one of the biggest danger in these sort of conditions is a huge hole dig by sui gas department which is left it open. The hole gets filled with water and when some stangers came to the town they know nothing about it. They just took it as floating water which is actually a perfectlly setup natural trap for them. Its hilarious to watch them 'drowned' in that hole, also some vehicles fall in at as well. :) no fun by any means.

Got a day off from work just to watch that GODDAMN final. The bowlers again did a decent job restricting Aussies to only 239 but again the batsmen let the side down. I kept hoping against the hope all the way till the last wicket fall that Pakiastan can pull this one off.Damn pakistan lost yet another final. Sigh.
Just when i was trying to write in blog the door bell rang, rang and rang. I got pissed off and went too see how the hell that could have been and much to my surprise ther were some "tabligees". A jamat had arrived on Friday and today was their last day here. I actually liked those guys, they were from Agriculture university and they drag me to the mosque and i spent whole 2 hours there.(i think that was two hours). They kept motivating me to go for atleast a 'sahroza' but i managed to escape atlast.

Not having the Internet can be such a fucked up mess. It's become an addiction for me now, and like all addictions, without it, the abuser gets very, very cranky. You have been warned.
Sigh. Blogger be a very evil thing. It plays hide and seek with your browser just when you become bloggy-fan. I have been tryin to find some new layouts but they ain't working properlly. Man i suck at internet.

People ask millions of questions. I mean the most stupid questions ever. Especially when you have to repeat the thing twenty times, and the next time the subject is brought up, you have to repeat the whole life history all - over - again. How very exhausting and a waste of (very valuable) grey matter. It's hard to even have a decent conversation with such people
but i still bear them. e.g:'Badshaw bhai'. Sigh. It really gets tiring when stuff like this happens fifty times a day.
Well that's life . I'm now learning that in reality, not everyone with come up to your expectations/standards. You'll meet all kinds of people. People you'll hate, people you'll love, people who drive you up the wall, people who know how to make you smile. It's just our choices that affect the type of friends we make but sometimes unconsiously we make the wrong choices or sometimes the way we picture people, aren't exactly the way they really are. And then all you can do is to bear it.
